down to hell and back in 2 hours

February 5th 2011, a day I will remember for the rest of my life.

Hey Blog, finally I found some time to upload all the pictures of last couple of months of travelling in Vietnam and Laos, now you are definitely ok!

I am in Ko Samui, rainy afternoon, so I took this chance to do some boring stuff, if tomorrow will be fine, I will be going to Ang Thong, the marine park where the movie "the Beach" was settled, I hope to get some nice shots!

diving in Ko Tao

I have been all the past week in the wonderful island of Ko Tao, I went there without a real plan and I ended up with doing the open water course! So now I am a certified scuba diver, looking for more undersea spots to sea!

Now I just arrived in Ko Samui, it is way much bigger than Ko Tao and I still need to figure out what is the best part to hit!

too much Bangkok for me

Usually I am quite good to understand how the city works, how to move, where to go, etc.... but this time I have to say the Bangkok is too much for me. There is not one main center, the city is too big, too difficult to understand how the public transportation system works, every time I try go further I little bit I need a GPS to come back and find the way, in addition there is traffic jam all the time and it is always very hot.

For this time it is enough, next time I will come with more attitude, tomorrow I will move and start the trip in the islands starting from Ko Tao!

Fucking hot Bangkok

I just arrived in Bangkok, after more than 1 month spent in the mountains in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand and.... fuck, it so damned hot! more than 30 degrees, lot of humidity, heavy sun and lot of traffic! I don't understand how people may live here and it is even more difficult to realize how much hot can be in summer. Now just the time to organize my schedule and then I will be heading for some nice beach!

Golden Triangle trip ends in Mae Hong Song

well, in a few hours I will have the bus to Bangkok and I can say my trip in the northern Thailand is finished. I spent almost 20 days in the Golden Triangle, starting in Laos in Luang Namta and finishing in Mae Hong Son in Thai, putting my nose for few time even in Myanmar. I had better time in Laos than Thailand, so far the only place I liked here is Mae Hong Son, for Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Pai, nothing particular to say. Now I am heading south, beach life is in my mind, I will have some days rest in Bangkok and then I will begin the trip life I planned since lust July....enjoy!!
